teaching artist
Arts accessibility for kids is a cause that is very important to me. Being introduced to theatre at a young age had such a positive influence on my life, and I want all children to have that opportunity. During my time at Northwestern University, I worked extensively in the Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) program, ImagineU. Studying under Rives Collins, I focused on child development and the benefits of the arts in young lives. In Evanston, I had the pleasure of teaching at both Music Theater Works and The Actors’ Gym. Here in New York, I teach theatre and dance in schools throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx with several fantastic non-profits, including Broadway Bound Kids and Notes in Motion Dance Outreach Dance Theatre.
